Abstract

Physical access control systems have similar data requirements as identity management & logical access control systems. These systems have historically used relational databases with vendor specific schemas making interoperability difficult. This session will review the advantages and challenges of using a directory as the native data store for physical access control and how this enhances out of the box interoperability.
