OpenLDAP over 3.5 times faster than FDS and OpenDS

Benchmark results compare OpenLDAP 2.3.34 to Fedora DS 1.0.4 (FDS), OpenDS 0.3-34, and ApacheDS 1.0.1. OpenLDAP auth. rate 3.5 - 3.8 times faster than FDS, 3.7 - 3.9 times faster than OpenDS. ApacheDS? No comment.

CDS for Windows Available

Symas announces the production release of CDS for Windows. Now, an "OpenLDAP Done Right" is available for Windows systems (Windows 2000 and later). Thanks to Lucas Bergman for all his work providing a distribution prior to this release.
